The Annual Electors Meeting will be held in Council Chambers on Tuesday 3 February at 6.30 pm. The Copies of the Annual Report are available on request from the Shire of Broome Administration Office, 27 Weld Street, Broome.
Submit your question prior to Tuesday 27 January and officers will research an answer for the meeting.

Broome Public Library now has a Self Check Out Machine
At times the library can get very busy so the addition of the self check out will lessen patrons waiting time. Simply scan your membership card under the light, then scan the barcodes on the items. The 3M self check machine will record your details and provide a printed receipt at the end of your transactions.
Instructions are available in English, Japanese, Chinese and Korean.
Reserved items will be shelved near the self check machine and can be checked out by the borrower. You will be able to check for messages, see what you have on loan and collect your reserved items. The helpful library staff will be on hand to show you how easy the new system is to operate.
If you are not keen to try out the self check machine - don't worry items can still be checked out by the staff at the front desk.
The self check out machine is situated on the left as you enter the library. It is as easy as 1 2 3 or scan, scan and print. Even children can use it with confidence.
If you have never been to the Broome Public Library it is situated on the corner of Haas and Hamersley Street. We welcome new members every day.
Please bring proof of your current Broome address and we can join you up in a few minutes. Even if you are just holidaying in Broome we can provide temporary membership so no one needs to be without a good book over the holiday period.
